What can I do with a degree in nutrition? Psychology?
I am in my second year of college title beginning this fall. I am currently in biology and psychology with the eyes of dental school after college double major. I'm in biology, since biology background will help the dental school admissions more, during my psychology, is a backup plan for dental school, unless extended. Lately I've been considering whether to change psychology of nutrition. I am interested in both areas, so that the most important factor in this decision, what type of job for me after school with either degree. What you can do with a degree in one of these areas? Where is the salary for the best? As the industry has experienced the largest growth? If I do not go to dental school, I will pursue a master's degree or more in my second major. What this will open up opportunities for me? I'm looking for a field that I can make out, from 60 000 two $ 100,000 on the lookout for one year. Hopefully this is possible with a higher level.

Does a nutritionist have to get a degree in nutrition? Are there any other options?
My only university offers a biology major. Another word for the nutritionist dietitian. If you are a nutritionist would value your input. Thanks! Of course, you need a degree, I think it would be that someone will give you a guide without studying for it? I know I would not. Well, there are some under-nutrition in their school. I'm an exercise science major and I'm going down of Clinical Nutrition. That said, most hospitals employ minors, to look and ask. Nutritionists are not the same as registered dietitians! Guidelines and required courses are very different. Dietitians must take additional courses each year to maintain their license as such. They must also pass an exam after graduation to obtain a license. If you are considering a career in the field you want more options, with a degree in Dietetics from just being a nutritionist.

Possible alternative to a degree in nutrition?
I still eat things like what you said and the drafting and like what you eat and how you train your body, it is fascinating work. While I was looking for a nutritionist degree, but there are only about 50,000 dietitions nutritionists throughout the U.S.I think it would be very difficult to get a job or a link to see the entire country with an incredible turnaround. It's something I can provide jobs for this topic should be, or is it good? Four years of study. Health Promotions I could, I guess he had not yet decided on psychology. Hello there.First of all, there are a large number of dietitians in the world (a nutritional consultant is a person with no qualifications and little or no credibility). He can do a lot of us (nutrition consultant) are in the world, but it depends on your specialty. It's like saying, not a "doctor" is there are too many. But there are doctors for cancer of the skin, kidneys, feet, colon.etc. Same with nutritionists What alternative degrees for a career? Well, it depends on what you want to do. It is illegal to practice without your diet dietitian Credential.so it honestly depends on your goals .

Will a Nutrition BS degree be more useful as an Endocrinologist or a Gastroenterologist?
. Why? . I realize that I have to go to medical school. I am seeking a second major. I'm majoring in biochemistry and nutrition also think of adding large. Endo to have him treat people with diabetes every day will make a big difference at all. Not be given much importance to programs of medical school, residency or fellowship. Large and small as you want at this time. His decision to endo and geographical indications are very, very far, and should not affect decisions you make today about education. If I were you, honestly, I just wanted to concentrate on large and not bother with a second concentration. It's just adding more stress in your life, and do not contribute much to the school shooting. That's where the focus should now, just to get into medical school are focused on entering the school and can best use your energy on something that will help you, such as research or volunteer work.

Can I go into Medical School with a Nutrition & Dietetics Degree?
Most people tend to take Biology / Pre-Med route. I know you can get into medical school with any major, but I wonder how well the N & D will prepare me. N & D program at my school has is with some changes and could end up comparing a graduate of BS programs in Biology / Pre-Med. Is the extra 2 years of school to get a master's degree in medical school? Can I change the information I learn in the diet, the medical school or should I go with biology standard?

Is there a degree (associates) that deals with nutrition and immunology?
This is a program that is used as a biotechnology technician interests me, to be honest, I'm good for an associate degree, do not think I could go on. I'm really interested in nutrition and immunology. Is there an associate degree that I could work in this area get? Perhaps as a technician? Any info would be appreciated. I hope this is something that involves working laboratory technician or research. Thanks again. This research, you need a PhD in something. See if it offered such a thing as "clinical laboratory" or "medical technology. Some community colleges are two-year programs in medical laboratory technology. See for example the first link below. There are also programs two years in a dietetic technician registered (DTR) is to see the second link. Degree of biotechnology is the best for research. Indeed, a doctoral be best for research.M I suggest that if all they can afford a two-year degree, obtained a degree in biotechnology or biology or chemistry or medical laboratory technology and then find a job in a laboratory at a university that offers tuition waivers for employees. Take the time to complete a degree in science. Get good grades. Get a good letter of recommendation from your supervisor at work. Then apply to college somewhere that will give you a good financial package .

Will a Nutrition undergrad. degree be more useful as an Endocrinologist or a Gastroenterologist?
. Why? . I realize that I have to go to medical school. I am seeking a second major. I specialize in biochemistry and I am thinking of adding nutritional importance. I believe with a degree in nutrition, it would be better used as a gastroenterologist. In dealing with gastrointestinal food can make or break certain treatments. Moreover, food can help with medication, where the drug can only fail. I think as an endocrinologist, so having a degree in Haematology would be better. The level of nutrition is very good for both. Only a large number of people who have problems that are nutritionally based. But beware! real doctors do not believe this AT ALL! So stop talking about it. real doctors are committed to promoting high-cost drugs, and certainly do not want to hear from food or supplements such as glutamine and low-cost drugs. They are not making any friends with business degrees - but you can help many people, if you have not seen him - a very useful book you can get very cheap - used - off of Amazon. Atkins - "Vita-nutrient solution". These are the vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fat, and some herbs and Dr. Atkins' experiences with them in their practice. I bet you would get a kick out of the book. I read the cover of my .

Should you also have a degree in Nutrition if you want to be a personal trainer?
I want to study, a personal trainer, but first I wanted to be a nutritionist. Now I wonder should I try a degree in both areas, so I make more money and have more knowledge to my customers? Yes! One should always be for the more demanding option, makes you a better person to go in the end. have a good idea, because good, healthy diet and exercise is the key to the perfect body. and your customers are more open to asking questions about health-ness and you will be wiser. Hello. Yes. I do not think that many personal trainers do too much training and not so much about weightlifting either :-( get a degree in nutrition you a competitive advantage over those who do not know much about nutrition. It is not evil. Also a certificate can in these areas if you do not want to go back to school for a couple of years. But you might want to make more money with a degree. These two areas go hand in hand and you can not really be a good personal trainer without the knowledge of good eating for your customers.

Best school for getting a nutrition degree?
What college had the best program on my nutrition or dietitian will get degrees? and therefore in the process of graduation, the school has a good candidate for nutrition or dietetics, between countries? University of Maryland. Www.umd.edu we have the best students, Yahoo has the best Johns Hopkins School of Public Health in the United States. They also have a Center for Human Nutrition: http://commprojects.jhsph.edu/chn/ Other popular schools: Harvard Univ. North Carolina - Chapel Hill, Berkeley, and Michigan. I graduated from Loyola University Chicago with two bachelor's degree, one in biology and another in Nutrition / Dietetics - I have also completed my dietetic internship through Loyola U Chicago. If you have not graduated with a degree in Dietetics, you will probably need some extra classes to become a registered dietician - but if you just want to go to graduate school for a degree in nutrition, you probably will not require additional courses. But a good site to search for graduate programs and what they focus on the website of the American Dietetic Association (wwweatright.org) you can find a program in the country at this site. I can not really recommend a good program, I do not know what you most care about the diet - which makes all the difference when you should be aware of. Good luck.

Can I study medicine after gaining a nutrition degree?
hello. I am first year student in nutrition. Can I study medicine, after I finished my first degree? It is possible for me? What are the criteria for me to join this course? The University can accept this with first class? Each scholarship for people with first-degree and do their studies in medicine? Thanks. I do not think it is very difficult. In many universities here (Australia) is a medicine is taught only as a second degree. Admission is highly competitive, and so one is not in any subject required. You need an SAT test (I think it's called) to sit. Ask at the University you are on, or another university where you intend to study.
